Recurring Events

Restoration Student Ministries is full of action! From Spirit-led services, to deep-dive Bible Studies, to fellowship-filled Life Groups - there is something each month to sustain and develop each student.

Sunday Growth Classes

Our Sunday Growth Classes occur every Sunday at 11am (excluding Holiday Weekends or 5th Sundays). We split these classes between Jr. High (ages 12-14) and Sr. High (ages 15-17).

These classes aim to deepen each student’s Biblical literacy in a no-phone environment, while also keeping the lessons engaging and relevant for today’s youth. Our classes are written and taught by a dedicated group of teachers, who plan each lesson 1-year in advance, so that every lesson is progressive towards a student’s eventual adulthood.

Ignite Services

Our Ignite Services occur once per month, usually the 1st or 2nd Friday of each month. These services are full of dynamic worship, powerful preaching, and life-giving fellowship. Our Pastor has a vision for these services to be Revival-driven, and they are no doubt meeting that vision! These also serve as great opportunities for students to serve in things like worship, keynotes, greeting, and other event support.

Next-to-Now

We believe that “the next generation” is not a fitting title for today’s youth. We are passionate about taking the “next” generation and releasing them into ministry “now”.

This vision is brought to life every 5th Wednesday for a youth & young-adult led service called “Next-to-Now” where students can serve in various ministries within the local church, gaining valuable experience in hands on service.

Life Groups

Life Groups take place once a month, typically towards the end of the month. These are small group social hangouts for all students! We bounce back and forth between all-student hangouts, all-student outings, and occasional guy/girl split hangouts or outings. These are great opportunities to develop relationships within the youth group, for leaders to connect socially with students, and for students to invite their friends!

Foundations

Foundations is a bi-weekly Bible Study which takes place virtually, or onsite if it coincides with all-church prayer. In these Bible Studies, we are exploring all of scripture with our students to ground them in truth, but also provide an opportunity for students to invite friends to this Bible Study. All while this takes place, we are indirectly training students to teach Bible Studies as well.

District Events

Missouri Youth Convention takes place the week leading into Easter, with over 5,000 young people in attendance. Our group attends this event annually.

Missouri Youth Camps are split between Jr. High & Sr. High, in the months of May and June. It is a week for students all around Missouri to have a social and spiritual retreat in their summer to grow as individuals.

North American Youth Congress takes place biennially in July, usually in Indianapolis or St. Louis, with over 35,000 young people in attendance for a dynamic time of worship and the Word.

Student Conference & ReGroup

Restoration Student Conference takes place annually, every August leading into the school year. It is a time that our church takes to focus on our students’ development, with focused services, social events, and a Friday Youth Rally in which our church hosts all of Section One youth.

ReGroup takes place on the odd years that NAYC does not. This is a biennial retreat for our students to Branson. MO typically in the month of September. This is a weekend for our students to connect, refresh, and ultimately deepen their relationship with the Lord through daily devotions.

  • While each event will greatly benefit each student, we understand that no family can be expected to attend everything. If you would like to prioritize a couple; our Ignite Services and Sunday Classes would be the ones! Ignite is a powerful youth service full of worship and the Word, followed by an extensive period of fellowship. Our Sunday Classes are full of teenage-applicable lessons that chart a course for each young person’s development into mighty men and women of God.

  • Our “Upcoming Events” page within the “Events” tab is full of the links, resources, and details for major upcoming events. Our RSM leadership is also very engaged with students and parents regarding these events.
